Peaceful Kingdom Cooperative Games

Peaceful Kingdom Cooperative Games promote team work, creative thinking, and communication. They are fun and engaging and my family loves them! My MIL introduced us to the concept of cooperative board games when my now 9 year old was about 2. I had my doubts. I’d never heard of a cooperative game before, never mind played one. Now I’m a big fan! Some of our favorites from Peaceful Kingdom are listed below! We have others from other brands but the bulk of our cooperative games and the ones that we want to play the most are from Peaceful Kingdom.

As a game-schooling loving, homeschool family, cooperative games are an easy, “yes!” They help us connect as a family and they teach my kiddos to work together, which of course I love! If you haven’t tried these types of games you have to check them out! Think about those rough days when your house is filled with little people with really big feelings or maybe you have a day off from your normal school days. Those days can be overwhelming! These games are great for that! We play games every single day in this house! Peaceful Kingdom’s games are where it’s at for us! That doesn’t mean that we don’t enjoy some competitive games as well, but timing for those, with little ones, is everything. Check out our favorites below! We personally own every single one of these and love them!

The Peaceful Kingdom Cooperative Games We Love!

Dinosaur Escape – Sorry we loaned this one out so no picture for now. This game is a race against a volcano to get your dinos to safety. This game is strategy and teamwork meets memory and random chance. It has cute dinos as pieces, a volcano you build as the dice roll – not in your favor – and a beautifully created board. It’s also pretty quick which I like especially on a tough day or right before bedtime! This was one of our first cooperative games from Peaceful Kingdom. It continues to entertain and engage all 3 of my kids who range from 5 to 9 years old.

Race to the Treasure – This game involves working together to build a path and racing to get there before the ogres do! Team work is essential! It’s fun and encourages creative thinking as you gather items along your way to beat the ogres to the treasure. Again all 3 of my kids love it and I enjoy this one a lot too! It’s pretty quick to play and another one that is great any time of day.

Gnomes at Night – Mazes, magical items and gnomes oh my! You get 4 different maze boards. You have to move through the mazes together as you collect magical items. The only way to win is to work as a team to get everything you need before the timer runs out! Communication is key in this one! The boards increase in difficulty as you go. The game is beautifully constructed, fun and exciting for all of us! It’s been so fun to see my now 9 year old and how our ability to communicate and work as a team has been benefitted by this game since we started playing with him when he was about 5 years old.

Hoot Owl Hoot – This one is simple but fun. The board and pieces are bright and colorful. Players work together to get the owls home to their nest before the sun rises. It’s another one that we love at the end of the day. It’s just a sweet, calm, fun game to use when enjoying some quiet time together with our kiddos.
