Brighter Day Press is nothing less than exceptional. I love resources that make my homeschool day easier. This is it! I love to dig into resources that put it all together, and that I can easily add on to or follow the rabbit trails with my kids. I also love resources that bring a simple, wholesome, goodness to our day. It’s also affordable, which is always a big win!
We have been exploring, “A Simple Summer,” by Brighter Day Press, for the past few months. It has been a lovely addition to our homeschool. It lays out a beautifully simple way to do morning time, or whatever time you start your day. In our morning time we look for ways to gather as a family in a place of calm, comfort and connection. Brighter Day Press is Full of Nature Based Goodness
This program allowed us to enjoy the small things in nature that often go unnoticed. It is a Christian, faith-based program, grounded in nature, stories and poetry. There is very little prep time involved. The books that are chosen to go with the weekly plan, we were able to get at the library or did as read-a-louds online. The choices that they made for books, stories and poetry are simple, beautiful, wholesome and enjoyable for all of us.
Brighter Day Press is organized and easy to follow too. A Simple Summer is laid out beautifully and so well organized. It comes with nature based topics broken out by week, a calendar to follow if you choose, book suggestions for bigger kids and little kids too, poems and fables ready to read, and some kind of craft or baking/cooking activity.

We are so excited to dive into a, “Simple Autumn,” and some of their water color lessons. I feel like there is something for me, something for the kids, and something for us all together with this company! They have gift-type items, holiday themed programs, classes and so much more. If the religious aspect isn’t for you, I feel as though you can easily leave it out and just focus on the other great aspects of what they have to offer.
Watch for another post on Brighter Day Press and their Water Color class. This I bought FOR ME! I am so excited to find time, create space and do this just for me. I know making that time won’t be easy but, when I find it and get to experience this, I will be sure to share it!
