Backpack Sciences is a great resource for teaching science to your kiddos! With videos and easy to follow, hands-on lessons this resource makes teaching science easy and fun! They offer a lot of support in a variety of ways from ready-made lessons, to coaching, to help you teach science with confidence.
Our experience with Backpack Sciences
Recently, we got to incorporate a couple of their lessons into our homeschool experience! We’ve been doing a unit study on the Olympics and that has lead us on a human body rabbit trail. We incorporated their lesson on the Skeletal System and it was the perfect compliment! Also, I recently put together a Wind Power Unit Study. From that my 7 year old wanted to follow a fossil fuel rabbit trail. We used their Fossil Fuel lesson to help us learn more and have doing it!
Backpack Sciences stands on it’s own with science lessons and support for educators. For us however, it was perfect to use alongside our unit studies. I love to combine aspects from many different resources when creating unit studies. We also love to follow rabbit trails and see where they take us! For us, Backpack Sciences was a great addition!
